Shalise
A 35-year-old Brazilian architect and interior designer who has lived in Dubai for the past 13 years. With a keen eye for design and a passion for creating unique and elegant spaces, she has built a successful career in the luxury market.
Shalise currently represents the Ornare brand, a prestigious luxury furniture store in Dubai. In this role, she combines her expertise in architecture and interior design to offer clients customized and sophisticated solutions. Her innovative approach and attention to detail have made her a reference in the industry, earning her a demanding and loyal clientele.
In addition to her work with Ornare, Shalise is a dedicated entrepreneur, always seeking new opportunities and projects that challenge and expand her horizons. She is strongly focused on networking and helping other female entrepreneurs by sharing her experiences and knowledge, encouraging and empowering others to achieve their goals in the business world.
Carina
From a young age, I learned to create opportunities where others saw only obstacles. I started selling ice cream at the age of 13 on the beaches of Guarujá to pay for my studies and at the age of 15 I was already selling books door to door to help with household expenses. These experiences shaped my practical and determined mindset, even before I understood the formal concept of mindset. At the age of 18, I joined an architecture firm in Santos, SP, where I started serving coffee. With dedication and perseverance, I not only graduated as an architect, but also became a partner in the firm after seven years of hard work.
Architecture has become not only my profession, but my passion for almost three decades since my days serving coffee. About five years ago, I made the bold decision to pursue an international career after having the opportunity to work on projects outside of Brazil. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I faced additional challenges while being stuck in Dubai, but each challenge was transformed into an opportunity for personal and professional growth. Today, I am a partner in the Ornare franchise in Dubai, one of the world's cosmopolitan centers, where I continue to expand my career and plan future professional challenges.
